Coming back from our Spring break, we looked at our homes again.
This time, we made connections with toys and family members who play with us at home.
Grace said, "I read a book by myself in the living room". Andy said, "I play with my Lego all by myself in the living room". Eddie said, "My brother and I played with the ball in the living room". Ray said "I play with my train at home". JIarui said, "I play with Lego and mummy and daddy play with me." Ben said, " My brother and me play with the blocks in the kids room." Justin said, " I play Lego with Popo in the living room." Holly said, "I play pells and magic on my own in my room."
We also talked about the cause of change in our homes. It could be because the parents changed their jobs, , moved from home country to another county, from a house to an apartment.
We started our new topic on Data Handling in math this week!
Our teacher asked us , 'what is data?'
Grace answered "data is getting information".
Then she asked us, 'how can we get data?' We though data can be got from doing PE, math, UOI, from books, computers, newspaper, iPad. We could collect data by counting and adding.
We went off to collect information on 'the favourite room in the our house'.
And look what we got! The bedroom was the most favourite room!
We also collected data of the number of objects from a basket and played some data handling game.
