Unit Of Inquiry
In our unit of inquiry we have been focusing on routines for our wellbeing. We looked at how an activity affected our physical, mental and academic wellbeing. Carrying our inquiry forward we looked at who was responsible for our routines at school and at home.
We chose activities for our wellbeing and then thought about how the activity made us feel.
After meditation in class Holly, Amelia and Eddie said "it make me feel clam, gentle and peaceful!" Kotaru and Lucas said "it makes me feel calm and happy" and Justin and Jiarui said "I feel happy!"
We chose activities for our wellbeing after which we shared our feelings. Lucas, Kotaru and Amelia said "We played pacman, duck duck goose and running. It made us fell sweaty but it was fun and we felt happy!" Justin said "I read book and I feel happy!" Eddie said "I played Ninja turtle, it was fun and it made me feel happy. I am all sweaty!" Holly said "I played pacman and it made me happy. I did meditation and it made me feel calm!"
We had a fun yoga session!
Continuing with our daily 5- Reading to self, Listen to reading and Word work!
We continued measuring length using non-standard units of measurement in our environment! We measured the length of our names, the length of our classroom, length of the playground and the length of the sandpit.
