Lines of Inquiry
Routines support our physical wellbeing
Routines support our mental wellbeing
Routines support our academic wellbeing
We unpacked the words 'routine' and 'wellbeing' and what these words meant to us.
Amelia said 'we do morning routines when we come to school!' and 'we also have gymnastic routine.'
Eddie added 'we do the question of the day and counting jar.'
Jiarui added 'jobs'
Justin said 'unpack bag.'
We broke the word wellbeing into 'well' and 'being' for better understanding. When Ms Smita asked us what these words meant
Lucas said 'well means good health'.
Kotaru then added 'we have to eat good food, we have to eat broccoli.'
Holly added that to stay healthy we 'exercise, by going on the slide.''
'We have to drink water' and 'sleep so we have energy for tomorrow' added Amelia.
We did several activities both in class and outdoors for our physical and academic wellbeing.
We have been working on our daily 5. We have started word work where we sound and sort words, draw and write 4 words and then use plasticine to write the word.
We have been measuring length. We used non-standard units of measurement like cubes and sticks .We measured and compared the length of our shoes and various sized strips of papers.
We ended the week with the FUNRUN!
