This week we had Nurse Jit talk to us about the importance of washing our hands for our wellbeing. It is important to wash hands before eating and after going to toilet. It helps us from keeping the germs and infections away.
We continued talking about the five food groups and decided to make our own healthy snack. We first came up with suggestions about what healthy snack we could make in school which would require no cooking. After that we got into groups and planned for the ingredients, equipments and the method. And finally we got to make our snack. Reflecting back to what we made
Eddie said "it was quite fun.It was epic! It tasted yummy and it was healthy."
Kotaru added "It was epic!"
Holly said "It was really really risk taking. I took a lot of effort into making it. It was fun."
Amelia said "It was good because it was some food that I have never made before."
Jiarui said "It was yummy."
Lucas added "It was good to make the snack. It was nothing hard to make the sandwich. It was tasty. It had some of the food from the pyramid, it had grains and vegetables from the pyramid."
Justin said" Happy to make sandwich."
